I did not start out as a relationship coach. I started out selling rare coins, and then building real estate. For years I measured my life the way most people are quietly taught to, by net worth. Then I moved to Israel, began studying what actually makes a life rich, and most of what I believed about success, love, and meaning turned out to be backwards.

Today I coach daters and couples, speak every week at the Aish World Center in the Old City of Jerusalem, and have written seven books on relationships, self-esteem, and living with clarity, including Sunscreen Love, Infinite Marriage, Emotional Vampires, and Never Feel Unloved Again. My podcast, Living in Clarity, has run weekly since 2021.

The idea at the center of all of it is simple. Most people treat love as a feeling that happens to them. I treat it as a sequence you can understand and build, in four phases, physical, intellectual, emotional, and spiritual. Skip a phase and the relationship wobbles. Honor the order and lasting love stops feeling like luck.

I am especially passionate about coaching men, and the partner in a couple who is ready to do the work, because almost everyone else in this field is speaking to women. You do not have to choose between being attractive and being a mensch. You do not have to choose between ambition and intimacy. The whole point of my work is that the good life is integrated, not traded off.
